ANALYSIS CHELSEA VS WEST HAM:
Graham Potter is back with his former employer (got sacked by Chelsea, so he has something to prove) – but now as the boss of West Ham. He has quickly made the "Hammers" more active, just like during his years at Brighton. Since he took over, no other team has forced more high turnovers. He demands a lot. The defensive line must push higher, getting closer to the midfield – where the attacking midfielders are expected to run the opposing playmakers into the ground. This means more running, more tackles – but also a chance to create more goal-scoring opportunities. Something that Mohammed Kudus enjoys. He is a breakthrough player, has a powerful shot, and doesn’t back down when things heat up... He made three tackles in the last match. I would guess he is just as fired up now, as a derby at Stamford Bridge awaits – against a Chelsea side that has actually shown some vulnerability lately.
ANALYSIS CAGLIARI VS LAZIO:
Normally, this is seen as a tough trip for the big teams from the mainland – but I hardly think Lazio is intimidated by this challenge.
Cagliari has been unusually weak at home. They have only won three matches – and those were against teams from the lower half of the table. When top teams have visited, they have stood no chance.
Surprised that we get as much as 3.00 on Yerry Mina to be booked. He doesn’t have a high reputation with the Italian referees, known for being rough, even more known for his "dirty play" and was sent off in the away match against Lazio last autumn.
