ANALYSIS CELTIC VS DUNDEE UNITED:
"Value Pick of the Day"
Celtic is the heavy favorite – as usual in the Premiership.
They're expected to win comfortably (favorites even on the 0–2 handicap). However, I’m not convinced it will be that easy.
They fell short of their usual standard during the Old Firm match, losing by an unexpectedly large margin. They bounced back with a 3–0 win recently, but that margin owed much to defensive blunders by the opposition (two major goalkeeping errors).
At home, they’ve mostly been flawless – wins without conceding – but were held to a 2–2 draw by fourth-place Aberdeen.
Now third-place Dundee United comes to visit. They’re injury-hit but always "up for the task."
Celtic hasn’t yet recorded a 2–1 home win this season but managed three such victories at home last year. Logically, a win by that scoreline is due soon.
ANALYSIS UTAH VS FLORIDA:
"Bank of the Day"
Utah is hardly the hottest state in the U.S... It’s mainly known for Salt Lake City. A few years ago, most of its 3.5 million residents didn’t care much about hockey. But when Arizona folded, the NHL introduced the Utah Hockey Club. Owner Ryan Smith has tried to market the team as superior to the Coyotes and build interest – with limited success. The reality? Utah is equally mediocre, with an audience mostly consisting of confused sports fans and sponsors. Four defensemen are out due to injuries, though Maveric Lamoureux and Robert Bortuzzo are the only notable absences.
Florida is solid but seems to be dealing with a slight "Stanley Cup hangover." Key player Aaron Ekblad, a high-scoring defenseman, is questionable, raising concerns.
A high-scoring game seems unlikely.
Utah has already confirmed their starting goalie: Karel Vejmelka. With him in net, the team has allowed 2.45 goals per game, and he’s outperformed expectations in terms of saves.
