The Cavs just got better on trade deadline day when they acquired DeAndre Hunter from Atlanta. Minnesota ara on a roll with eight wins in their last ten games.

THE CAVS JUST GOT EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE

So the The Cavaliers are best in the East and have a legit opportunity to win the title in june. Cleveland decided to get even better. They traded for one of the best defensive wings in the NBA, DeAndre Hunter. He will be a great weapon on the wing in a potential playoff series with the Boston Celtics. A weapon that could make a huge difference in the outcome of that potential series. Hunter is having the best season of his NBA career. His average is just over 19 points per game and shooting 39.9% from behind the arc. Which is a career high for Hunter, he will not be available for the game tonight.

THE CAVALIERS HAVE A GREAT OFFENCE TO LEAN ON

Cleveland are on top of the summit in the East with a record of 42 wins and ten losses at this point of the season. Over their last ten games The Cavs have won six out of ten games. In their last two games The Cavs have beaten The Wizards 134-124 and The Pistons 118-115. Their home record is 24-4. The Cavaliers are second in the NBA when it comes to points per game with 122.4. That goes for their shooting percentage too (49.8).

THE WOLVES JUST TOOK CARE OF PORTLAND

Minnesota just defeated the Trail Blazers who were on a six game winning streak. The Wolves won the game by 114-98 and have now won three in a row. They were down by 13 points at halftime. Anthony Edwards did not play, neither did Julius Randle. So Jayden McDaniel stepped up and scored 30 points. That’s a career high for him. The Timberwolves have won eight of their last ten games and seem to have found their groove on the court recently. The Wolves are climbing up the standings in the West and currently sits at the 6th position with a record of 30 wins and 23 losses. Their road record is 15-11.
