Both teams are coming off a loss last weekend and want to set their records straight. Nottingham are back on the ground after they got demolished by Bournemouth (0-5). Brighton had a heartbreaking loss to Everton at home. Two hungry teams with a history between them will square off at the City Ground.
Despitefully of the loss to Bournemouth Forest are still at the third position in the PL standings. Nottingham have surprised a lot of people during their, at least so far, Cinderella season. Forest has 44 points and are three ahead of Manchester City. Arsenal are three points ahead of Forest at the second spot.
It’s been a great season so far for the Portuguese manager, Nuno Espiranto Santos and his squad. If they keep the good things up, Nottingham Forest will be rewarded with the sweetest thing. A Champions League spot next season. The Tricky Trees have only won one out of their last three PL matches. The tall and lengthy New Zealander, Chris Wood is their best scorer with 14 made goals.
Brighton had a nice streak going with seven straight games without a loss. That being across all competitions. The streak was broken by Everton last weekend (0-1). The Southcoasters currently sit at the 9th spot in The Premier League with 34 collected points. Before the loss to Everton Brighton had beaten Manchester United and Ipswich Town away from home.
The midfielder from Japan, Kaoru Mitoma has done very well on the pitch recently. Just as the French attacker, Georginio Rutter, has. Both of them scored a goal each in the recent mentioned wins. Brighton’s German manager Fabian Hurzeler and his squad had a shuffle with Nottingham in their prior encounter. Hurzeler was sent off and the game finished two all. No other than the 34 year old Danny Welbeck is the best scorer for the Seagulls with six goals to his name.
Two players are questionable as far as Nottingham goes. The Skipper Ryan Yates and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Ibrahim Sangare is surely out. The Seagulls will have to do without a bunch of players. Igor Julio, Jason Steele, Ferdi Kadioglu, Solly March, James Millner, Mats Wieffer and Pervis Estupinan are all out.
Forest: Sels; Aina, Murillo, Milenkovic, Williams; Anderson, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood.
