LATEST ODDS

Musetti did something yesterday he's never done before on the ATP Tour. He defeated Tsitsipas after losing to him five times in his career. Musetti will square off with Alex De Minaur in the second semifinal at the ATP 1000 Rolex Masters in Monte Carlo.

LORENZO MUSETTI FINALLY DID IT

After five straight losses to Tsitsipas the 23 year old Italian, Musetti, finally won against the Greek. Lorenzo came back in the match after dropping the first set, Musetti won 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 and it took him two hours and 20 minutes to do so. His serve was more accurate than Stefanos’s in the sense that he had more to work with and did not have to hit as many second serves as Tsitsipas. Less than 50% of Stefanos’s first serve were accurate. Mussetti saved a whopping amount of 14 out of the 17 breakpoints he faced. Lorenzo converted three out of his own six.

He went to the net on eleven occasions and won nine of the points.

MUSETTI’S WEEK AT THE ATP 1000 ROLEX MASTERS

It has been a great week for the 16th ranked Italian in Monte Carlo. Musetti started the week by beating Bu in three sets. Then he went on to defeat Lehecka in three sets too. Lorenzo faced his compatriot Berrettini in the round of 16 and won the match in two sets. Lorenzo and De Minaur have played each other two times on the tour to date. They’ve got one win each. The first match between them was played at the Australian Open in 2022 (opening round) and Alex won in four sets. They faced each other last summer at the Queen's Club (first round) and Lorenzo won in three sets. With the unorthodox playing style of Musetti and the movement that De Minaur has on the court this could turn out to be a very entertaining match to watch for us all

LORENZO MUSETTI SO FAR IN THE 2025 SEASON

Musetti has won eleven and lost four matches at this point of the season. He got to the QF in Hong Kong. Lorenzo reached the third round at the Australian Open (lost to Shelton). He lost in the QF in Buenos Aires and in the round of 32 at Indian Wells. Musetti got to the round of 16 at the Miami Masters. This is his best week of the season for Lorenzo.

ALEX DE MINAUR TOOK OUT DIMITROV EASILY

It took only 44 minutes for De Minaur to beat Grigor Dimitrov in the last QF of the day yesterday. The match finished 6-0, 6-0 to De Minaur. An unusual double bagel at this high level of tennis. Dimitrov was obviously not himself and far from the best version of himself. De Minaur has been evolving a lot on the surface of clay over the last couple of seasons. The 26 year old Aussie started out his ATP 1000 Rolex Masters campaign by defeating Machac in the round of 32 in two sets. Alex got the better of Medvedev in straight sets in the round of 16. De Minaur has now won 20 matches and lost six on the ATP tour in the 2025 season.

ALEX DE MINAUR IN THE 2025 SEASON

The Sydney native is currently ranked the 10th position in the world. He won both his matches at the United Cup to start the year. He reached the QF in Melbourne (to Sinner). Lost the final to Alcaraz in Rotterdam. Got to the QF in Doha and lost in the first round in Dubai. De Minaur reached the round of 16 in both Indian Wells and Miami.
