Bayern got the better of Augsburg last week in the Bundesliga. They won the game 3-0 after Harry Kane scored a hattrick. Two of the goals were penalty kicks.
Dortmund sit at the 6th spot in the table with six wins, four losses and one draw. Dortmund are ten points behind Bayern at the top of the Bundesliga table. Four wins out of five in their last five games across all competitions prove that Dortmund are heading in the right direction. Dortmund took care of Dinamo Zagreb in their midweek CL fixture. They won away, 3-0. Dortmund played Freiburg in the Bundesliga last weekend and won the match 4-0. Four different players scored a goal each. Dortmund have already beaten the top teams Frankfurt and Leipzig at home. Will Dortmund get the better of the Bavarians too?
Nuri Sahin will have to do without Emre Can who's out due to suspension. Julian Brandt and Karim Adeyemi are doubtful. Niklas Sule could possibly return for this one, but is still doubtful. As far as Bayern goes Sven Ulreich is out, so is Josip Stanisic, Joao Palhinha, and Hiroki Ito. Aleksandar Pavlovic could make a return after being out for a while.
