Fenerbahce have won three straight games in the Euroleague and they have found their groove on the court. They are also playing really well in the domestic league with five wins out of six possible. Partizan at home (89-72) and Maccabi Tel Aviv at home (84-82) in their three last games. Fener have a deep and very talented roster. The Bavarians got a huge win in their prior match in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague. Bayern took care of the top side Zalgiris at home (77-74) and now find themselves on the top shelf of the Euroleague table. Bayern are not used to being there but will get used to it quickly. Bayern Munich have won five straight games in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague. They haven't lost since October 15th versus Partizan Belgrade away in the German domestic league Bayern has two straight wins currently. A not so minor problem for the Germans is that they are playing much better at home than they do away from home. Bayern have only beaten Fenerbahce once away in the Euroleague.
Fenerbahce's shooting guard Scottie Wilbekin is out for the season. In his absence Nigel Hayes-Davis is the main scorer for Fenerbahce. Lucic and Giffey are injured and will not play in Istanbul for Bayern.
