Paris lost to Real Madrid two days ago at home, 85-96. That was the second straight loss for Paris in the Euroleague. They also lost to Lyon-Villeurbanne in the previous game. Paris were on a ten-game winning streak in the Euroleague before these two losses. So this is a very interesting game to see how Paris will respond after losing two games. In the French domestic league, Paris lost their most recent game but won four straight before that. As a matter of fact, Paris has lost three straight games across all competitions for the first time this season.
Fenerbahce are currently at the 6th position in the standings of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague. They have a record of ten wins and six losses at this point of the season. Fenerbahce haven't been the best version of themselves as of late. They have lost two straight games (blowouts) to Monaco (69-99) and Barcelona (63-90). Fenerbahce have only won one of their last five games in the Euroleague. With Paris out of sorts for a bit, Fenerbahce have a nice opportunity to get back on the right track if they win this one. The same goes for Paris. Fenerbahce has won five straight games in the domestic Turkish league.
Paris likes to play fast and run a lot. Paris is the team in the Euroleague that attempts the most shots from behind the arc. In that sense, they play a brand of NBA basketball. The key for Fenerbahce in this matchup is to do a good job of protecting the three-point line. The team that plays with the larger amount of urgency will win this one.
