"Best fans – but worst team."
That was the opinion of many regarding Scotland and their performance in the Euros. They have only won one of their last 15 matches – and that was against Gibraltar. But they have also had some bad luck. They were just a "VAR decision" away from a late equalizer against Croatia (Che Adams was just a few centimeters offside).
Portugal is, of course, here to win, but a draw wouldn't be a disaster, and several players have extremely important club matches coming up just around the corner. Maybe they'll hold back a little?
Projected lineup/home team: Gordon; Ralston, Souttar, Hanley, Robertson; McLean, Gilmour; Doak, McTominay, Christie; Adams
Projected lineup/away team: Costa; Dalot, Silva, Dias, Mendes; J. Neves, Palhinha, Fernandes; Neto, Ronaldo, Leao.
Poland's last performance wasn't pretty. They were saved by the goalpost twice. They sparked life into the match with a 1–2 goal late in the game (thanks to an individual error), but soon after, they scored an own goal. Game over. Now, there's talk of going out with a much more offensive approach from the start. With the right support, Robert Lewandowski could surely find the net. But do they have a solid enough defense to protect a lead? I have my doubts.
You can't have high expectations of these national teams for obvious reasons. But they still do their best with very limited resources.

SAID KORAC – ANYTIME GOALSCORER + CORRECT SCORE 2–2
Belarus also has the "handicap" of not being able to play on home soil, as they are still relegated to playing in Hungary.

DIRK CARLSON – ANYTIME GOALSCORER + CORRECT SCORE 2–2
As expected, this group has been a "give and take" situation. No team has been able to pull away. Everyone thought Luxembourg would struggle last time, away against Bulgaria, but in the end, they were the closest to winning (mostly from a few decent set-piece chances in the second half, thanks to strong headers from center-backs, namely Dirk Carlson and Said Korac). They are now without two suspended players: right-winger Florian Bohnert and holding midfielder Christopher Martins.
As mentioned, these teams rarely go out with a reasonable chance of winning. But here, it's more or less wide open. It could result in a more open match and ultimately lead to a bit of an anticlimax, with a shared result?
A gamble!
