Valladolid has been far too bad – the whole season really – and was completely undressed against Barcelona last time (1–7). But there, they more or less just gave up after the first half. It didn’t really matter if it ended 0–3, 1–7, or 1–25... They chose to start gathering strength for tonight’s task already then – which is like a Final. If they win? Then suddenly there is hope for a new contract. If they lose? Well, then they can check out.
As I said, they are not good... Not good at all.
But neither is Las Palmas. Over the last ten rounds, they have only taken eight points (two more than Valladolid). A new setback with the suspended Alex Suarez. They also miss three players due to injuries.
Modest, out-of-form teams facing each other...
Valladolid – 12 points at home.
Las Palmas – 10 points away.
No – I can’t quite buy that the team from the Canary Islands is the 1x2 favorite.
