It hasn’t been a bed of roses for new West Ham manager Graham Potter. Thrown straight into a shapeless squad – which quickly ended up with all strikers on the injury list. It went so far that they played a couple of matches entirely without a natural forward. But could it be that the tide has turned now? Coming off a strong 1–0 upset at Emirates Stadium against Arsenal. Where they scored 1–0 on one of very few chances going forward and then played most of the second half against a reduced side. The market has certainly reacted strongly, and with suitable opposition on the other side + home advantage, they have been bet down to odds around 1.75. But – they are still just a couple of places ahead in the table, and the whole season has been a theme of "one step forward followed by two steps back."
Don't trust the Hammers one bit… Have now also lost the important Lucas Paquetá to injury.
Leicester has a technically skilled midfield, and if they get just a bit of space (which West Ham tends to give away), they can create chances.
