LATEST ODDS

Spain will host Switzerland in both teams last game of this group stage. This will be a no stakes game as both teams future in Nations League is already decided with Spain having secured the number one spot in the group and Switzerland already being relegated to League B.

LOOKING TO CONTINUE UNBEATEN RUN

With 13 points from five games Spain have already topped the group and secured a spot in the quarter finals. Despite having nothing at stake Spain will want to maintain their unbeaten competitive run that stretches back to March 2023. Luis de la Fuente’s team claimed a 2-1 win over Denmark on Friday with goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Ayoze Perez. Spain’s dominant campaign includes 10 goals scored and just two conceded in the five games so far with victories in their last four matches following an opening draw against Serbia.

GOING DOWN TO LEAGUE B

Switzerland’s campaign has been very disappointing as they sit bottom of the group with two points ensuring relegation to League B. While recent draws against Denmark and Serbia showed glimpses of improvement Murat Yakin’s side has struggled to perform consistently. The Swiss have only beaten Spain twice but their heavy 4-1 loss in the two teams first meeting of this campaign reveals their struggles. Switzerland will look to finish their campaign on a positive note playing only for honour.
