The Memphis Grizzlies are back for real this season. They are amongst the top teams in the Western Conference. Ja Morant is back and highly motivated. Atlanta has lost two straight games and this is a good opportunity to get back on the right track for the Hawks.

THE GRIZZLIES SECOND IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE

Memphis had a very rough last season with a lot of adversity on different levels. They are back and sit at the second spot in the West. The Grizzlies have a record of 19 wins and 9 losses. Only Oklahoma are ahead of them in the western standings. Memphis won their prior game against the Golden State Warriors. They destroyed them to be really fair and won the game by 144-93. Memphis made 27 three pointers against the Warriors.

JA MORANT AND THE GRIZZLIES ARE ON FIRE

The Grizzlies have won eight out of their last ten games in the NBA. Memphis have won six of their twelve road games so far this season. This is a very serious team. Ja Morant has missed some matches but has been very good overall since he made his comeback. He is a joy to watch on the floor.

THE ATLANTA HAWKS ARE ON A LOSING STREAK

The Atlanta Hawks have lost two straight games in the NBA to the Milwaukee Bucks (102-110) and to the San Antonio Spurs (126-133). The Hawks were on fire with six straight wins but have now lost three out of their last four games. The Hawks are led by their dynamic point guard Trae Young. The shooting guard, Dyson Daniels, joined the team in the off season in the Murray trade and he has been awesome on the defensive end of the floor. Daniels, from Australia, is almost averaging 3.5 steals per game. The 20 year old has a great future ahead of him.

ATLANTA HAWKS 7TH IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE

The Hawks have a record of 14 wins and 14 losses so far this season. They sit at the 7th position in the East. The Hawks would regain some of their lost momentum if they are able to win this one versus the Memphis Grizzlies. The Atlanta Hawks have really stepped up on the defensive end of the floor this season. Memphis will be a big test for the Hawks defence without a doubt.
