The Dallas Mavericks won the Western Conference last season and the future looked immensely bright. Eight months later the Mavs are in a very deep hole dug by their ownership and the GM, Nico Harison. With Kyrie Irving out for the season and Doncic traded for nothing the future is no longer bright for Dallas.
A month ago Luka Doncic was traded to the Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a first round pick. The Basketball worlds was in shock and Luka Doncic could not believe it himself. Luka had just bought a new house in Dallas for 12 000 000 USD. His ambition was to stay in Dallas for the rest of his career. Just as Dirk Nowitski did.
The most surprising trade since the Boston Red Sox got rid of Babe Ruth almost 100 years ago. To giveaway a 25 year old franchise player, and one of the best five in the world, for that price is nothing but stupid. Davis got injured in his first game for the Mavs. Grimes asked to be traded away because he wanted to play with Luka. PJ Washington, Lively and Gafford are out. So is James Hardy, Caleb Martin and Irving.
The Mavs will wot be in the playinn even. Harison motivated the trade by saying it was a win now move. With Kyrie gone the next season at the age of 32 and Davis at the age of 31 the Mavs are doomed. The faster the ownership fires Nico Harrison the better. Everything that could go wrong for Dallas since the trade has pretty much gone wrong at this point. I feel truly sorry for the Mavericks fan base. They haven’t deserved anything of this.
The ownership has also raised the season tickets prices for the upcoming season. Patrick Dumont is the governor of the Mavs and his touch with reality seems to be heavily non-existent. The Mavericks currently sit at the 10th position in the Western Conference with a record of 32 wins and 30 losses. The Suns, who own a record of 29-33, will pass them before the regular season ends. The Mavericks have lost four out of their last five games.
Milwaukee has been playing very well as of late. The Bucks are on a three game winning streak at the moment (Atlanta, Dallas and Denver). The team has won eight out of their last ten games. They have a record of 35 wins and 25 losses at this point of the season. The Bucks own a home record of 20 wins and nine lost games. That is the second best home record in the east right now after Cleveland. The Mavs hosted the Bucks on March 2nd and lost the game 117-132. Bobby Portis is out for Milwaukee due to a suspension. Two players are questionable as far as The Milwaukee Bucks go. That’s Pat Conaughton and Pete Nance.
Milwaukee defeated the Hawks away from home in their previous game by 127-121. Giannis and Dame Liliard led the Bucks in scoring. The Greek Freak had 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 dimes triple double. Dame had 23 points and four assists. Their two man game is just getting better and better. The new addition Kyle Kuzma had 10 rebounds and 17 points. He made seven of his ten shot attempts. Gary Trent Jr and Kevin Porter Jr added 15 points each off the bench.
