The Dallas Cowboys are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals in Arlington, Texas. It’s Monday Night football and the Cowboys are coming into the game with two straight wins. The Bengals are on a three game losing streak that they would love to end in Texas tonight.
The Cowboys have won two straight games after being on a five game long losing streak. In the last two weeks The Cowboys have gotten the better of the Washington Commanders (34-26) and the New York Giants (27-20). Before those wins they had lost to the Texans 10-34, Eagles 6-34, Falcons 21-27, 49ers 24-30 and the Lions 9-47. The Cowboys have a record of five wins and seven losses. CeeDee Lamb has been great on the field as of late.
Dallas sits at the third spot in the NFC East. The possibilities to reach the playoffs are slim but still there. The Cowboys would have to win every game left to play to be able to clinch a playoff berth. That is a tough task but it’s the way things go in the NFL. The Cowboys are one of the most popular teams in the United States across all sports and the attention they get is always big. The owner Jerry Jones is in the limelight very often. Too often if you ask some of his many critics. Whether head coach Mike Mcarthy will be with the Cowboys next season is still unknown.
A couple of weeks ago The Bengas had a record of 4-5 and a nice shot at getting into the playoffs. Since that point they have lost three straight games. The Ravens beat them in a close game 35-34. Then The Chargers defeated them 34-27 and The Steelers beat them 44-38. The Bengals haven’t won a game since they took out the Raiders on Nov 3rd (41-24). Cincinnati has a record of four wins and eight losses. They are third in the AFC North. Joe Burrow will start as the QB for the Bengals. Burrow has averaged 276 yards per game so far this season. He usually finds the wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase in nice spots on the field.
Zack Martin and Dak Prescott are out for the season for Dallas. Copper Rush starts at the QB spot for Dallas. Sheldon Rankins and Orlando Brown are out for the Bengals.
