The Lions are fighting to secure the number one spot in the NFC. It’s the Lions or their divisional rivals, The Vikings, that will end up with the number one seeding in the NFC.
The Lions are second in the NFC North division and fifth currently in the NFC seedings for the playoff. If they beat the 49ers and The Vikings next week they will be the one seed in the NFC. The Detroit Lions have a record of 13 wins and two losses at this point. The Vikings have a record of 14 wins and two losses. It is all about getting a bye in the first round of the NFL playoffs.
Detroit defeated The Chicago Bears last week, 34-17. The Lions lost the Bills the week before, but had eleven straight wins before that loss in Buffalo. He also has ten interceptions and has passed for almost 4100 yards, which is fifth in the NFL. Their running back, Jahmyr Gibbs, is also fifth in the NFL with 5.5 yards per carry.
This has been a very rough season indeed for the San Francisco 49ers with a lot of adversity. The 49ers have dealt with an abnormal number of injuries throughout the season. The 49ers have a record of six wins and nine losses at this point of the NFL season. The 49ers are in the last spot of the NFC West and have lost two straight games to the Miami Dolphins (17-29) and the Los Angeles Rams (6-12).
The 49ers QB, Brock Purdy, has close to 3500 passing yards so far this season. He has 17 touchdown passes and ten interceptions. Purdy’s passing completion is at 65%. Juan Jennings and George Kittle are his two primary wide receivers together with Deebo Samuel.
Kalif Raymond and David Montgomery are out for Detroit. Jalen Reeves-Maybin is Questionable. As far as the 49ers goes they have Robert Beal Jr, Spencer Burford and Dre Greenlaf out. Colton McKivitz, Tatum Bethune and Charvarius Ward are all questionable.
