Week two of the NFL season is off to a very anticipated start when the Miami Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills in an AFC East clash at Hard Rock Stadium. Both teams won their opening games and have the opportunity to go two to nothing for the start of the season. The QB matchup between Tua Tagovailoa and Josh Allen is one of the main keys of the game.
Both teams were successful in securing a win on day one of the new NFL season. The Dolphins defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars at home in a very close game. At the end the Dolphins won the game 20 - 17 and gave themselves a great start to the season. Most of the talk after that game was about the Dolphins player, Tyrek Hill, who got arrested by the police before the game. He played in the match and showed us some serious mental strength being able to lock all of the sudden outside noise out. It was a close game but considering the circumstances with Hill, it was a very good and solid showing by the Dolphins. Dolphins had a great rushing defence and will need to have it in the game versus Buffalo as well.
The Bills got the better of the Arizona Cardinals and won that match 34 - 28 at home in Buffalo. So the vibes are immaculate for both teams coming into this match at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The Dolphins have won 14 out of their last 18 matches at home since the start of the 2022 season. That is very impressive and consistent to say the least. This could potentially turn out to be something of an uphill battle from the start for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Since it is a match between two main rivals in the AFC East the importance of this game can not be underestimated at all. A win would mean the world for both of the teams. Last season the Bills won 4 and lost 4 matches on the road.
Two of the best QBs in the league will face each other in this anticipated matchup so early in the season. Personally i enjoy watching them both play with the amazing skills and high football IQ they’ve got. Both Josh and Tua had 29 touchdowns last season. Josh had 18 interceptions while Tua had 14. Josh reached 4.306 passing yards and Tua had 4.624. Last year the completion percentage for Tua was 69,3%. It was 66.5 for Allen. They played 17 games each.
