The NFL Thanksgiving schedule will finish at the Lambeau Field where the Green Bay Packers are hosting the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are hot as fire with three straight wins since the return of Tua. The Packers are on a two game winning streak.
The NFC North is both the toughest and hardest division in the NFL this season. The Packers (8-3), Lions (9-2) and Vikings (10-1) are all really strong and all three teams are bound to be in the playoffs in a couple of weeks. Green Bay have defeated the San Francisco 49ers (38-10) and the Chicago Bears (20-19) in the last two weeks. The Green Bay Packers have won six out of their last seven games in the NFL and they are really solid as of late.
The Dolphins have beaten The Patriots (34-14), Raiders (34-19) and the Rams (23-15) in their last three games. Before that they lost a close game to the Bills (27-30). The Dolphins currently have a record of five wins and six losses. Miami is in the second spot in the AFC East behind the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins still have a shot of coming into the playoffs but would pretty much need to win every game that they have left to play.
Tua got another concussion early in the season and a lot of people were of the opinion that the QB should retire. That was the third concussion of his career. Tagovailoa did not listen to that talk and made his comeback on the field late in October. Tua started with two losses but has now three straight wins with his beloved Dolphins. It will be cold in Wisconsin and Tua’s stats are not good when he plays in cold weather or against playoff calibre opposition. One thing is for sure and it’s that the Dolphins need the win to keep the hunt for a wild card spot alive.
The Packers are very good at running the ball this season. To counter that Miami has a very good and solid rush defence. Usually the RB of the Packers, Josh Jacobs, is hard to stop but the Dolphins just might do that. If they do, they have a very good chance to win this one. Motivation can be an essential factor in this game since the Dolphins are hungrier than the Green Bay Packers are.
