We are in the last week of the NFL regular season, and the stakes are high at this point. The Bengals need to beat the Steelers to start to get into the playoffs. The Steelers could win the AFC North if the Ravens lose to the Chargers.
The Bengals got the better of the Denver Broncos last week, and that win made the Bengals stay in the hunt for a playoff spot. To get into the postseason, Cincinnati must beat the Steelers in this matchup first and foremost. Then The Dolphins and the Broncos must lose their games on Sunday. If all that happens, The Bengals are in the playoffs. The Chiefs must defeat the Broncos, and The Jets need to beat the Dolphins.
The Cincinnati Bengals have a record of eight wins and eight losses with one game remaining in the regular season. The Bengals have won four straight games against The Broncos, Browns, Titans, and the Cowboys. They haven’t lost since Dec 1st to the Steelers. The Bengals are the third spot in the AFC North behind Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have lost a lot of momentum over the last three weeks with losses to Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadelphia Eagles—three of the best and strongest teams in the NFL. At this point of the season, The Steelers have a record of ten wins and six losses. Do they believe in themselves that they can beat the best teams come playoff time? The Head Coach Mike Tomlin has some stuff to figure out.
The Ravens will square off with The Chargers in the early Saturday game. If the LA Chargers beat The Ravens and the Steelers defeat The Bengals, Pittsburgh will win the AFC North. If The Ravens win, the Steelers do not have anything to play for versus the Bengals. The Steelers have at least secured a wildcard spot.
The Bengals have a couple of players that are doubtful to play: Cam Taylor-Britt, Chase Brown, Amarius Mims, and Tee Higgins. Jermaine Burton, Drew Sample, and Charlie Jones. Sam Hubbard and Jermaine Burton are out for the Bengals. Donte Jackson is questionable for the Steelers. Roman Wilson, Lee Logan, and Cole Holecomb are out.
