Oh Lord, this is a huge matchup in the NFC. Seattle are fighting for their lives to win the NFC West ahead of the Los Angeles Rams. The Minnesota Vikings are battling with the Lions about who will be number one in the NFC North.
The Seahawks had a tough loss last week to the Green Bay Packers (13-30). They are now in the second spot (behind the Los Angeles Rams) in the NFC West due to that loss. So Seattle must win this game if they want to reclaim the top spot in the NFC West. The Seahawks had won four straight before the loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Seahawks face the Rams in the last fixture of the regular season. As it looks now, only the winner of the division will get into the playoffs. Seattle has won four out of their last five games versus the Minnesota Vikings. Geno Smith, quarterback of the Seahawks, had an awful game versus the Packers and he must for sure do better if the Seahawks plan to win this matchup.
The Minnesota Vikings are currently second in the NFC North behind the Detroit Lions. Both teams have a record of twelve wins and only two losses each. The Vikings have won seven straight games in the NFL. They have already secured a playoff berth, and now it is all about the seeding and potential home court advantage in the wild card round of the playoffs.
The Vikings and the Lions will be squaring off in the last game of the regular season. If the Vikings win all of their remaining games, they could finish as the top seed in the NFC and get a bye in the Wild Card round.
K’von Wallace, Brady Russell, and Trevis Gipson are all out for the Seahawks. Jonathan Hankins is questionable. As far as the Vikings go, Jalen Redmond and Fabian Moreau are out. Harrison Smith and C.J. Ham are questionable.
