LATEST ODDS

Everton had an historic match earlier in the week when they faced Liverpool in an emotional match at Goodison Park. The last ever Merseyside derby to be played there. The game finished two all after a late stoppage equaliser by Everton. The Toffees saved the day at the end of it all. Crystal Palace have been great as of late.

JAMES TARKOWSKI IS THE TOFFEE HERO

The central defender Tarkowski saved Everton in the derby deep into stoppage timer with a 98th minute equaliser. The goal prevented a loss for Everton in the last derby ever at Goodison Park. A big deal for the club, players and fans. The Toffees have been playing well since David Moyes took over the reins at the club last month. Moyes was there from 2002 to 2011 in his first stint with Everton. The Toffees lost in the FA-Cup last weekend to Bournemouth (0-2) at home.

EVERTON UNBEATEN IN THEIR LAST FOUR PL GAMES

Before the draw with Liverpool The Toffees had won three straight in the Premier League. Tottenham (3-2), Brighton (1-0) and Leicester (4-0). That is half of their total number of wins in Premiership this season. Everton won three out of their first 20 PL games and three of their last four. That's an improvement to say the least. The Toffees sit at the 15th spot in the PL standings with 27 points. Ten points above the relegation zone.

CRYSTAL PALACE IN GREAT SHAPE

Palace have only lost one their last nine matches across all competitions. They have won six out of those nine games. So Palace have been stacking up wins to the enjoyment of their Austrian manager, Oliver Glasner. The 50 year old took over a year ago at Selhurst Park and Glasner has done a great job so far. Palace defeated Doncaster (2-0) last week in The FA-Cup. Palace currently sit at the 12th spot in the Premier League standings with a total 30 points.

THE STRIKER MATETA HAVE BEEN ON FIRE LATELY

The 27 year old French striker has been playing very well recently. Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored ten goals so far this season, Mateta scored 16 goals the prior season. Six of the goals have been scored in 2025. If Mateta keeps on scoring it will be hard for Palace to keep him next season.

LATEST TEAM NEWS - PALACE VS EVERTON

Palace will have to do without Doucore (Cheick) and Riad ,likely for the rest of the season. Sarr, Nketiah and Eze are questionable. Everton and Moyes will be without Abdoulaye Doucoure. Ndiaye is probably out.
