Friday is the quarter final day at the WTA 125 BLS Open de Limoges. We have two predictions prepared for you. The 7th seed Viktorija Golubic will face Carole Monnet. Varvara Lepchenko will square off with the 6th seed, Nurria Parrizas Diaz.
The 7th seed from Switzerland, Golubic, has defeated Makarova and Bolkvadze in straight sets so far in Limoges. The 32 year old is currently ranked at the 109th spot in the world. Her best ever was at number 35 early in 2022. Golubic has 24 wins and 20 losses across all tours in 2024. Golubic has won two titles in her career. One of them this season (WTA 250 Jiangxi Open). This is the first entry for Viktorija since she won that title in November.
Carole Monnet has not lost a set yet at the WTA 125 Limoges. The 23 year old from France has beaten Seidel and Yastremska in straight sets. Monnet is ranked at the 236th spot in the world currently. She is left handed and she has won 36 and lost 41 matches across all tours in 2024. She played in Angers last week and reached the round of 16.
The 33 year old Parrizas Diaz is ranked at the number 100 on the WTA rankings. Nuria has been ranked as high as number 45 back in the spring of 2022. So far Nuria has beaten Teichmann (three sets) and Tagger (straight sets). Nuria Parrizas Diaz has won 43 and lost 28 matches across all tours in 2024. Nuria came to Limoges with two straight first round exits.
Varvara Lepchenko is still going strong at the respectable age of 38. The left-hander is ranked at the 134th position in the world. Her highest ranking to date was at number 19 back in 2012. Lepchenko has won 55 and lost 36 matches across all tours in 2024. Lepchenko has beaten Blinkova and Rouvroy so far at the WTA 125 in Limoges.
